Unity college is an unaided English medium, Co-educational College established by a registered philanthropic society,the Tauheedul Muslimeen Trust Foundation Society, Lucknow.
Today it has about 2500 students, above 100 staff members and classes from Lower Nursery to class XII. Unity College is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
Medium of Instruction
Unity College conducts all its academic activities in English medium only . Apart from being medium of instruction, English is encouraged at the level of oration and writing. The students are advised to read the national dailies and magazines, which are made available to them, so as to get in touch with the prevalent structures of the language and be able to improve the level of comprehension and usage.
The Facilties
Nestling among the architectural splendour of old Lucknow , Unity College provides the best in modern education. It is housed in a spacious aesthetically pleasing new building on a campus spreading over 5.75 acres with lush green, healthy and pollution free surroundings. The infrastructure is comparable to the best elsewhere for the all-round development of the child's personality, preparing him/her to meet the challenges of the coming times.
The College has an ever growing library with the latest editions of world class books and well-equipped labs for computer and science subjects. Excellent facilities for games and sports exist on the campus itself. The college has a fully trained teaching staff which is regularly oriented with the latest teaching techniques to keep up with the growing needs of the time. The college endeavours to keep the ideal teacher student ratio and lays great emphasis on individual attention to the children by the teachers.
The bank fee collection counter, the tailoring shop and college canteen are part of the campus.
